Where innovation inspires

Texas A&M University College of Engineering

Jack E. Brown Engineering Building

Our group employs computational and experimental techniques to solve a broad range of problems in bio-chemical, biological and chemical systems. Projects deal with the application of chemical engineering principles to the broad areas of energy, process systems engineering and health/medicine. Current laboratory studies include microbial growth kinetics using microfluidics, influenza virus separation using monoliths, and bio-fuel/bioelectricity production using microbial fuel cells. Computational research includes optimization and control of a bioethanol refinery as well as fault detection and diagnosis in pipelines and processing systems.
